AJEC English Camp

As a reward for rising to the challenge of the Akita JET English Contest, the Akita JET Community organizes an English Camp during summer vacation each year. The top students from each school will recieve an invitation to the camp. In 2009 the camp will be held at the Kenritsu Chūō Kōen Family Campground (県立中央公園ファミリーキャンプ場). The students must pay a participation fee to attend the camp. In 2007, the cost of the camp was ¥10,000. In 2008 the cost was reduced to ¥6,000. We are making efforts to reduce the cost of the camp further in 2009. |
