Circle the Letter Race

- Write the whole alphabet several times on the board including big and small letters.
- Divide the class into two teams. Each team forms a line.
- Give the first student in each line a piece of colored chalk.
- Call out a letter such as big A or small z.
- The students race to the board and circle the correct answer.
- The first student to circle the correct answer earns a point for their team.
- The team with the most points wins.
Notes
- To save time during class, write the alphabet before hand on a large piece of paper instead of the board.
