- Greet the whole class, and then greet a few students individually.

- Chant while looking at the picture cards.
|
- While checking the cards with the kids, put them on the board in categories: colors, animals, food, sports.
- Using "What color/animal/food/sport do you like?" ask them what they like. Change the chant to use the cards they have chosen.
- Show the cards and chant with them.

○Play the Lucky Card Game

- Use two sets of cards per group.

- Tell them it's the same as the 2nd lesson but this time they will use their other cards too (fruit, food, animals, sports, colors, shapes)
- Decide on a lucky card and don't tell them what it is.

- In the blank space, draw a picture of what you want to ask.
- Interview your friends about what they like. Fill in the table with their answers.
- Tell the class if you have a friend who likes the same thing as you.

- Tell them they will be interviewing their friends. Get them to guess their friend's likes from past experience.
- Get them to walk around the classroom and interview friends they meet.
- Get them to explain things that surprised them from the interviews.

○Let's introduce each other
- From their interviewed friends, a volunteer chooses one person and introduces their likes. All the other kids ask together "What color/animal do you like?" and from the answers, guess who it is.
|
- Explain that they will choose one interviewed friend and using the answers in their table, introduce them.
- Get the other kids to ask the volunteer "What color/animal do you like?" in unison.

- Reflect back on todays class. Fill out the reflection card.
- Say goodbye.

- Praise children about their attitude and use of English.
