- Announce that you will play the keyword game.
- Let the students pick the keyword by saying a subject.

○Play bingo game (see Hi, Friends! 2 Teachers' Manual p.30)
- Arrange nine of the textbook cards into a three-by-three grid on their desks.
- Listen to the school subjects said by the instructors and take the corresponding cards.

- Announce that you will play the bingo game, and have them prepare the cards from their textbooks.
- Say "I study ___," and insert subjects at random.
- Once they have gotten used to it, select a student and have him or her say the subjects instead.

- Listen to the digital materials and say along while looking at the teachers' picture cards.
- Split into question and answer groups and chant.

- Have them listen to the recording and say along while showing them the teachers' picture cards.
- Split the class in two. One half will be the question group, the other will be the answer group. Have them chant just their part.
- Have them sing the chant by insterting a different subject.

- Listen to the digital materials about school lives in foreign countries, and write in the textbook things that they understand.

- Have them listen to the audio materials.
- Have them be aware of school lives in other countries while having them pay attention to the similarities and the differences to their own school lives.
- Have them understand that each school presented is just an example of schools in that country, and don't have them develop biases.
