Kanagawa

From Akita Wiki

神奈川 (神奈川県; -ken) is a prefecture in the Kanto Region of Japan.

Perhaps the most famous place in kanagawa is the city of Kamakura. Not to be confused with Akita's Kamakura Festival, this city has an imense amount to see. One can easily spend a day viewing one or two shrines, or rent a scooter and see several. Either way it would take many days to see it all.

  • Enoshima Island
There are many famous prints made of this island with large shrines and steep climbs. The views from here are amazing. From the top you can see Mt. Fuji. There are escalators to the top if you want to pay for each one, but an able body can hike and each staircase leads to a different amusement.
