Label things

From Akita Wiki

Make small cards for common classroom objects. On each card, write the name of the object in English (large) and Japanese (small). Give the cards to 5th and 6th grade teachers, and hope for the best, or do it yourself. Label things large enough for a label -- for example, stapler size and larger.

Consider labeling items such as: chalk board, wall, floor, ceiling, staff room, teachers lounge, door, window, chalk box, ruler, fan, CD player, drawer, stool, desk, chair, light switch, TV, radio, principal's office, art, poster, hole punch, globe, map, hall, coatrack.
