  • Divide the class into six groups.
  • Give each group a set of cards.
  • Read four comparative sentences. For example, Nancy is younger than Taro. Taro is younger than Rob. Rob is younger than Nancy. Louise if the youngest of the four.
  • Students put the cards in the correct order.
  • Repeat the exercise with a few more adjectives.
