Divide the class into teams, each with a copy of the same picture. One student is designated ‘picture person’ and one ‘drawer’. The picture person alone can look at the picture and must explain the picture to the next person in line one item at a time (There is a sofa on the left. There is a cat sitting on the sofa.). That student in turn must tell the next, and so on, until the drawer hears the message, and draws what he has been told. The picture person must keep an eye on the board, so that any necessary corrections can be made. The game continues until the teams are (nearly) finished. Show everyone the original picture and check the copies on the board. Correct features can be counted and used as a score.
