Description

The students work in pairs. They have the picture below and a small laminated picture with a dog on one side and 2 dogs on the other.

Where is(are) the dog(s).png
Where is(are) the dog(s) (without position).png

Variation 1

  • The first student moves the dog/dogs somewhere and ask "Where is/are the dog(s)?".
  • The second student answers the question.
  • Then, the second student moves the dog(s).
  • When the students are using the different position, they flip the picture and use the version without hints.

Variation 2

  • The first student moves the dog/dogs somewhere.
  • The second student says "There is a dog ..." or "There are dogs ..." .
  • Then, the second student moves the dog(s).
  • When the students are using the different position, they flip the picture and use the version without hints.


Preparation

Print the two pictures: Media:Where is(are) the dog(s).png and Media:Where is(are) the dog(s) (without position).png.

Put the 2 pictures back to back and laminate them.

Print these dogs (chose the option 9 per page, and glue one page with the 1 dog pictures to a page with the 2 dogs pictures).

Cut them out and then laminate them.
