- I want to know what you guys think about the wikitravel links. I think they are great where they are now at the bottom of the pages of the different prefectures. However I am wondering if linking to wikitravel in the main body of an Akita article like the Yashima page is necessary. I know there is a bunch of useful information, but I feel like it might discourage people from adding similar information on our page. What do you guys think? -CaseyPA 15:59, 26 August 2011 (JST)
- Yes it can discourage editing here, but in a good way. I wrote the Yashima page both here and at Wikitravel. It's already written down there, and rather than duplicate that site, it's convenient to link to it. Saves energy and keeps everything organized. Lets me focus on putting new and useful information on this site, and lets me avoid duplicating that site. --D 10:10, 2 November 2011 (JST)
