Telephone Game

From Akita Wiki

Target age: Elementary school 2nd-6th grade.

  1. Make teams, where each row of students is a team.
  2. Give a set of small picture cards to each team. The kid sitting at the back of his or her row should place the cards face-up on his or her desk.
  3. One kid from each team, the kid at the front of the row, comes up to you. Secretly tell these kids a vocabulary word.
  4. They run back to their team, sit down, and whisper the word to the kid behind them. That kid whispers it to the kid behind them. Continue this.
  5. The last kid in the row hears the word, grabs the picture card for it, runs up, and gives it to you.
  6. Give points to the fast teams. Take away points from loud teams.

Notes

  • The Telephone Game is called 伝言ゲーム (dengongemu) in Japanese.
