I like making trips. I have visited many cities and towns in Japan. I have visited Nara three times.
Have you ever visited a foreign country? I have never visited a foreign country.
My father is going to leave Japan next Sunday. He is going to visit Malaysia and Singapore. He has visited Kenya once. He has visited Europe serveral times. But he has never visited Southeast Asia.
Singapore became an independent country in 1965. It is a young country, and is really a 'clean and green' country. You should not drop litter in the street. If you do, you have to pay five hundred dollars.
Malaysia is famous for its rubber trees.
Malaysia has been an independent country for about twenty years. It became independent in 1963.
There are many different races in both Malaysia and Singapore - Chinese, Malayans, Indians, and others - and there have been some language wars among them.
How about Japan? Is it a country of one race and one language? Have we had any language wars?
Some people in Malaysia and Singapore often eat with their fingers. But don't think that they are strange. Perhaps some of our food and manners are strange to them.
Have you ever eaten with your fingers? Perhaps you have. For example, how do you eat onigiri?
My father will enjoy visiting these beautiful countries. His old friends there will be very glad. They have not seen him for about three years.
