Brown fried rice

Brown fried rice is an easy to make, delicious, egg-free fried rice dish.
Ingredients
- 3 bowls of cooked brown rice (cold)
- 10g hijiki - chopped into short pieces and steeped in water
- ⅓ carrot - diced
- 1 onion - diced
- 3 shiitake mushrooms - diced
- ¼ lotus root - diced
- 1 square cm of fresh ginger - finely diced
- Sesame oil - small amount
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- Nori - small amount
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 5g iwashibushi (いわし節)
Directions
- Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan, then sauté the mushrooms, onions, carrot, ginger and lotus root.
- Drain, rinse and add the hijiki, and stir frequently.
- Add the brown rice and mix well.
- Add the soy sauce and mix well.
- Add the sesame seeds and iwashibushi and after mixing well, turn down the heat, and add the nori.
