Cultural differences Ireland
From Akita Wiki
The following is a list of cultural differences between Ireland and Japan. The list is far from complete. The list shows just the Irish perspective.
At school
- No school lunch. We buy or bring our own lunch.
- Speaking with the principal is much less formal than in Japan.
- We do not use lead refillable pencils.
- We must bring all our books to and from school every day.
- We do not have to clean the school. There are people employed to clean it.
- Many schools have no club activities. But we have scheduled PE lessons during the week.
- After school (about 4:15) all students leave the school, including the teachers who may only stay until about 4:30.
- In general students are not as artistic as in Japan.
