Well, if you haven`t checked out the Dragon Quest Power Point Lesson above this link, please do. The lesson was created by Melissa Noad and is AWESOME. You can find out all the details on how to play the game when clicking on that link. However, if you are a fellow mac user with keynote and do not have power point, you will not be able to open her power point file in keynote. Instead of purchasing power point for mac just to access this amazing lesson, I decided to make a keynote version. It took a ridiculous amount of time, but I was able to copy all of Melissa's power point images and basically create a keynote version that is quite similar to the original. Thank you Melissa!! However, I made some changes that are worth noting:
1) Battles now have a 25 second timer which can be adjusted up to one minute.
2) Students can win "items". For example,
Sword: Allows you to win a battle once even if you get the answer wrong.
Hammer: Cancel another team's winning points once.
Magic Boots: Role again
Shield/Armour: Protect your team from another team's attack once.
And more!
3)Some super awesome keynote 09 effects like fire and anchor builds and some cool slide transitions like perspective.
