Halloween Costumes

Do you need a Halloween Lesson that is fun and also educational? This is a read and run lesson where students work in groups (or individually) to find the names of different Halloween costume ideas. The class will begin with a short introduction of Halloween Costumes and their importance in our culture. (This is written in an American point of view, so you may have to change it depending on your home country.) I interact with the JTL in the beginning so students can listen to English conversation and then I ask the students random questions about Halloween. The rest of the class is spent on the activity. There is a detailed lesson plan along with the necessary materials. For the beginning of the class, print out pictures of your past Halloween costumes (if appropriate) or just use pictures from the Internet as examples. Happy Halloween!
