Materials Needed
- Laminated printouts (put the monsters and the example questions back-to-back before putting in the laminating sheet)
- Laminated cards (simply two of the monster picture sheet laminated and cut out)
- Whiteboard markers (sold in packages of 5 at Daiso)
- Erasers (small white sponges from any 100 yen store)
Directions
Students make pairs and get a laminated card, marker, eraser, and secret monster card. Students make pairs and ask each other “yes/no” questions to narrow down which monster their partner has. All of the negative answers are crossed out until only one monster remains. Use the Monster posters to answer information about the monsters that the students might not know.
