High school test results 2017

Information for the 2017 Akita Senior High School Entrance Exams.

Note that the three areas listed here are decided by the Akita Prefectural Board of Education, and do not reflect the Akita JET Block System.

The high school entrance system is divided into three stages:

  • The Preliminary Selection Test (an early-selection test; held on January 31st, 2017)
  • The General Selection Test (the general test; held on March 7th, 2017)
  • The Secondary Application (a second chance for students who didn't pass the general test; held on March 22nd, 2017)

Passing any one of the above tests guarantees high school enrollment, and exempts students from subsequent tests.
