I am a dog. I am loved by my master and his family. I am very happy.
My master is fifty-one years old. I am eight years old. But in human years I am as old as my master.
My master's son goes to high school. He is very tall. He is taller than his parents.
He says to his parents, "I'm going to the juku. I'll be back about eight." But really he sometimes dates his girl friend. What will his parents say if they find out? Poor parents!
My master's wife is as old as my master. But she looks much younger. She is very charming.
She feeds me, but she sometimes forgets. She is very busy with her social activities. She drives her car almost every day. She often invites her friends to the house. She is a busy woman. She is the busiest in the world.
The other day my master called all the family together. He showed them pictures of two dogs, and said, "We'll find a bride for our dog. Which is better, this one or that one?"
After a long discussion they decided. But I really wanted to say, "Why don't you ask me? I have a right to say something about this."
