Music during lunch

Play your music during lunch.

Notes

• If your school plays music over the school speakers during lunch, bring a CD and play one of your songs. Or, play it during cleaning time.
• Write down the artist and song name, and ask the student DJ to say them over the speakers.
• Burn an album, play your one song, and leave the CD in the radio room. That way, students can listen to the music later if they want. Or, they can borrow the CD.
• If you want to play a lot of music, ask the principal (or someone) first. Students want to play their music too.

Lunch announcement show

If you have time and energy to organize it, make a one-time lunch announcement show. Ask your JTE and see about coordinating it with the teacher in charge of the lunch announcement. This is a good opportunity to work with new teachers and students who otherwise might not interact with you much. Start planning several weeks in advance, and have a draft plan in hand when approaching your JTE.
