Pin the Nose on the Reindeer

Preparation
- Bring a couple blindfolds. (You can also bring a few Santa Hats to make it more Christmasy).
- Make a reindeer body out of brown construction paper.
- Leave the face blank.
- Cut out face parts and place tape on the back before lesson.
Description
- Practice the words (eyes, ears, mouth, nose) and the words (forward, back, up, down, right, and left).
- Divide the class into up to six teams (depending on number of students).
- Select one student from each group and blindfold him/her (have him or her put on Santa hat, too).
- Give each blindfolded student one of the facial features for the reindeer.
- Explain that the other team members must tell the blind folded student where to put his or her facial feature by using (forward, back, up, down, right, left)
- Spin the student in place and face him/her towards the reindeer.
- Let the students give directions.
Notes
- Tell the other teams that if they hear Japanese being used, the team doing the activity will be disqualified.
