Notes
This was a hit song of the folk group, Peter, Paul, and Mary who were popular in the 1960s. As the little boy, Jackie Paper grows up, he has to part ways with his friend, the ageless dragon, Puff. The song was released in 1963 and became popular as a children's song in Japan.

悲しみで首をうなだれ，緑色のうろこは雨のように剥がれ落ち，桜の道にパフはもう行くかない。
永遠の友がいなくては，パフはもう勇気を奮いたてないのだ。
こうして無敵のドラゴン・パフは，悲しそうに自分の穴に帰っていったのさ。

この歌は，主に1960年代に活躍したフォークグループ，ピーター・ポール・アンド・マリー（PPM）の大ヒット曲で，不老の竜パフと少年ジャッキー・ペーパーの交流とわかれを歌っています。1963年に発売され，日本では子ども向けの名曲として親しまれています。
