Review Race
Review Race (time: as long as desired)
Students are placed in groups of 4-5 students. Each group is given a whiteboard, a pen, a tissue, and a group number. Draw on the board a relay race. A simple (Start➔ A➔B➔C➔End) is fine. Students will rock-paper-scissors to decide their order. Student #1 will write the answer on the whiteboard. ALT will read a passage from the textbook and all students will repeat. When finished, ALT will ask a question about the passage and students will talk in their groups to find the answer. Student #1 will write the answer on the whiteboard, then run to the JTE and show him/her their answer. The first 4 groups to answer the question correctly will move up one. (Later in the game, introduce they can either move up one, OR move another group back one). When the question is finished, give the whiteboard to student #2, Repeat.
