This is a private, all-girls school in Akita City. It was founded in 1908 as a mission school. The word "seirei" (聖霊), which appears in the name of the school, means "holy ghost" in English.
This school changed its name from Seirei Women's Junior College Senior High School (聖霊女子短期大学付属高等学校) in April 2024.
This school operated a junior high school as well, but it closed the junior high school portion in 2013.
