Description
- Show some example using gerunds.
- I started writing this poem. I finished writing this poem.
- I started studying math at 7. I finished studying math at 9.
- Check the meaning of the examples.
- On a worksheet, ask students to individually write when they studied one subject of their choosing.
- Practice forming sentences for the information they wrote down.
- Talk to several neighboring students. Students tell each other when they started and finished studying a subject.
- I started studying English at 8:30. I finished studying English at 9:15.
- Students sit down and write two sentences about one of their neighbors.
- Kenji started studying science at 5. He finished studying science at 6:30.
