Video Tour of a Country/Province/City

Materials Needed
- Video collection from the country/province/state/city/etc. You can replace videos with photos if needed.
- A map of the area with places to make notes (use the file above as an example)
- Projector, screen, etc.
Instructions
Give each student a copy of your map worksheet and play the videos of things from around the area. For example, for the file above, I included dog sledding, northern lights, throat singing, and so on. After students watch the videos, they note what they saw in the spaces. When they finish all the videos, they can discuss various aspects of what they saw, such as where they would like to visit, where they don't want to go, which was the most interesting, and so on. Motivate students to ask questions here and there to keep them involved.
