Preparation
Make a worksheet with a picture two kids, a boy and a girl, and speech bubbles above each of them. Fill in only one of the bubbles and ask students to complete the other.
Example dialog
- Q: Hello, Aki. How are you?
- Q: Good morning. You look very happy today.
- Q: Good afternoon. How was school today?
- Q: Hello, Aki. Let's do something after school.
- Q: Hello, Aki. Do you want to see a movie this afternoon?
- Q: Did you get your hair cut? It looks nice.
- A: Yes, I had a good time.
- A: Yes, it was very interesting.
- A: Sure! Let's go to Tsutaya.
- A: Oh, really? I didn't know that.
- A: Yes, I think so, too.
Notes
- Reuse the same worksheet, changing only the speech bubble.
