Preparation
- Before class prepare one set of 12 color cards for each group of 4 students.
Description
- After the usual self into speech, divide the students into groups and have them choose 3 cards.
- Pick a color.
- The student holding that card in each group must stand up.
- Ask a question and the first student to raise his hand and answer correctly, in English wins points for his team.
Variation: Have one student from each group stand up. The JTE then asks them a question in Japanese. The first student to be able to ask this in correct English wins the points. Every once in a while ask the question back to them in English (‘Where am I from?) and give points if they can answer.
