- Draw a picture with several different colored balloons at different heights on the board.
- Label the balloons with a letter, and secretly choose one.
- One row at a time tries to figure out which balloon the teacher has chosen. They ask the teacher questions such as, "Is your balloon higher than A?"
- When they figure it out, record their time on the board.
- Choose a new balloon and repeat for all rows.
- The row with the shortest time is the winner.
