Nanataki Waterfall

Nanataki Waterfall (七滝) is a waterfall in Kosaka. It is one of the "100 waterfalls of Japan".
Outline
As its name suggests, the waterfall is actually composed of seven smaller waterfalls that combine for a total drop of 60 meters. The rest stop across the street is well maintained and staffed by friendly folk. They also serve some of the best ice cream Akita has to offer.
The area surrounding the falls is registered as a park and provided facility for hiking up trails and walking around the areas marshes.

25 minutes by car from Towada-Minami Station. 8km from the Kosaka IC (15 minutes).
