Preparation
- Make a copy of this worksheet for each group of 5 students.
- You can also edit the worksheet to make your own story.
Description
- Get the students into rows of five or six.
- Tell the students that they will be writing a story.
- Do an example with your JTE to help them understand. Be animated (it helps)!
- Write the first sentence on the board, "He is..."
- Once the students are done completing the sentence have them fold their paper back (not forward), and have them pass their paper to the next student. The student in the back row brings their paper to the student in the front.
- Have the students repeat this process for all six sentences (See sentences below).
- Once complete have the students open the stories and read them quietly. Afterwards have a few volunteers read their stories aloud. Laugh, cry, enjoy, etc.
