New Course of Study
This information may have to be updated to reflect the new Course of Study. --SeanC (talk) 14:37, 6 September 2019 (JST)
From JHS 1st grade
- The keystone assignments ought to be on their own page. Douglaspperkins 08:52, 15 July 2009 (JST)
- Too vertical, not wide enough. douglaspperkins 08:43, 8 June 2010 (JST)
From JHS 2nd grade
- While the past tense of "can" is "could", in JHS English we don't use it like a past tense verb. Instead, "could" is part of the set phrase, "Could you [do something for me]...?" Douglaspperkins 13:07, 24 August 2009 (JST)
- The keystones listed here appear to be arbitrary -- that is, I think only some schools do them, and they aren't standard or required. Should they be removed or described differently? douglaspperkins 14:46, 24 February 2010 (JST)
From JHS 3rd grade
Unclear why "Keystone ~" is used so many times on this page. I think It makes the table harder to read. Douglaspperkins 22:34, 21 January 2009 (CST)Revised; not bad now. Douglaspperkins 08:34, 19 May 2009 (JST)
- The keystone topics are book-specific. Maybe we should move them to book-specific pages. Is that OK? Douglaspperkins 08:34, 19 May 2009 (JST)
Old Discussion
- What is the purpose of this page? Is it a summary of the Course of Study? I don't dislike the contents, but am unclear on what it's supposed to be. Douglaspperkins 15:56, 8 March 2009 (JST)
- Its a start I made last year on trying to figure out what the goals of each year are. The purpose of this page is intended to be complementary to the Junior High Course of Study. More specifically, its intended to give ALTs who are requested to help plan lessons some guidelines to help them create appropriate and useful lessons. Suggestions about how to make this page more useful would be appreciated. Robevans 09:55, 11 March 2009 (JST)
