Description
- Get a regular deck of cards.
- Students get into groups of 4 or 5, and decide their order.
- The teacher draws one card from the pack and shows it to the students.
- The #1 students raise their hands, the fastest student gets to answer.
- The student must say an English word starting with the first letter of the card drawn.
- Example: If a 9 card is drawn the student must say an English word starting with 'N'. If a king is drawn the students must say an English word starting with 'K' etc.
- Answers cannot be a number or a name and words cannot be repeated.
- If the answer is incorrect/invalid, ask another groups #1 student.
- Repeat with #2 ~ #5 students.
Variations
- They can only answer with 5 letter words or 6 letter words.
- You can give extra points if they can spell the word correctly.

- This game was adapted from the drinking game Tourette's.
