Bingo - Life Experience
From Akita Wiki
Suitable for JHS 3rd graders.
Preparation
- Make a bingo board filled with life perfective participles (ie: been to Kyoto, eaten sushi, used a computer, etc.).
Description
- Students circulate the classroom and janken.
- The janken winner gets to ask the janken loser: Have you... (whatever bingo square they need - ie Have you been to Kyoto?)
- If the janken loser can do whatever is asked of him/her, s/he answers, "Yes, I have." and then janken winner gets to write the janken loser's name in the appropriate bingo box.
- If the janken loser can't do whatever is asked of him/her, s/he answer, "No, I haven't." and the students separate.
- When the first student gets bingo, s/he brings the bingo board to the JTE or ALT.
- The JTE asks each student whose name is written on the winning bingo board if s/he can do whatever is written in the bingo box.
- If all students answer, "Yes, I have!" the winning student gets a high five.
