Pac-man Kriss Kross (with credits to Joshua McGee)

This is like your standard criss-cross game, but better. In typical criss-cross style, get all the students to stand up and then ask a question. The first student to raise their hand and correctly answer the question gets to pull a card from the deck. The most common cards are side to side, up and down, diagonal, or crossroads. These are straightforward in that the students standing next to the cardholder get to sit down in that pattern.

What makes Pac-man Kriss Kross different and fun comes when the student pulls either Pac-man or Ghost. Pulling Pac-man or Ghost means the cardholder has five seconds to touch as many other students as possible (touching their desk counts too). If the card is Pac-man, the students who are touched by the cardholder can sit down. If the card is Ghost, the students who are touched by the cardholder have to stand up. This means the game can almost go on forever!
