Talk:Block Events
Google calendar
Is Google calendar the best way to display the Upcoming Events? Without a Google account it can't be accessed - and information on it can't be edited, unless I'm doing something wrong (i.e. I can't rename Central Block to Capital Block on the Kanto event, even with a Google account). The Google calendar does have its conveniences though, so I may transcribe events into a wikitable. --SeanC (talk) 11:13, 8 July 2024 (JST)
Order of Dates Column
Dates column sorts alphabetically by date. Is there a way around this other than listing all dates in yyyy/mm/dd format? (Or, perhaps, is listing all of the dates in yyyy/mm/dd format preferable?) --SeanC (talk) 17:12, 1 February 2019 (JST)
- Never mind. It was sorting alphabetically by date because the formatting for some of the dates was inconsistent. If the format is kept consistent like this it will sort properly: Jan 1, 2018. Note that this doesn't allow date ranges; only the start date. --SeanC (talk) 16:24, 5 February 2019 (JST)
Order
Also, perhaps listing the past events in reverse order, having the most recent event being at the top of the list, would be a good idea. --owencunn (talk) 14:36, 5 March 2018 (JST)
- I thought exactly the same thing when I checked this page the other day. Should the reverse chronological order be preserved in upcoming events, too? If not, it might get confusing. --SeanC (talk) 15:55, 5 March 2018 (JST)
"Block"
How about removing the word Block from each entry in the "Block" column? owencunn (talk) 13:29, 31 October 2017 (JST)
