Comparitive

When comparing two objects, we use the comparative. A comparative is an adjective ending in "er". For long adjectives, we use more + adjective.
- Jon is faster than Mike.
- My pizza is bigger than yours.
- This book is more interesting than that one.
When comparing 3 or more objects, we use the superlative. A superlative is an adjective ending in "est". For long adjectives, we use the most + adjective.
- Mike is the slowest runner of all.
- Chocolate ice cream is the tastiest ice cream.
- Transformers is the most interesting movie this year.
To say two things are equal, we use a simile.
- Jake is as tall as Mike.
- Coffee is as necessary as food.
