Mount Kanpu (寒風山;-san) is a stratovolcano located on the Oga Penninsula. A relatively small mountain at 355 meters, it is a major tourist attraction for Oga City.

This viewing center at the 355 meter summit on a clear day offers views of the Sea of Japan, Lake Hachirogata, Oga Penninsula, and Mt. Chokai to the south. Features a small exhibition and gift shop. The open viewing area right next to the centre is not quite as high, but offers near panoramic views for free. Open March to December every day from 08:30 ~ 17:00 Admission: ¥540 for adults, ¥270 for students.
