Mount Hachimantai (八幡平) is a mountain located on the northeastern border of Akita and Iwate. It is listed as one of the 100 landscapes of Japan.
Mt. Hachimantai is 1613m high, and is shared by Hachimantai City in Iwate, and Semboku and Kazuno in Akita.
