Haneda Airport
From Akita Wiki
Haneda Airport (東京国際空港) (IATA: HND) is an airport in the Tokyo Area that handles both domestic and international flights. The vast majority of domestic flights to either of Akita's airports embark from here.
In Late 2010 construction was completed on a new international terminal. The new terminal is host to a fantastic selection of restaurants and shops so I would recommend showing up at least an hour or so ahead of your flight so you can take it all in.
Check their website for information about cancellings, delays, etc.
