The Katagami Minami Akita Recitation and Speech Contest 2016 (第６８回 潟上市・南秋田郡中学校英語暗唱弁論大会) was held on Monday 29th August at Shōwa Community Center (昭和コミュニティセンター) in Katagami. 35 students took part in the competition, performing a total of 21 performances (9 speeches, 6 recitations, and 6 skits) This year was the 68th annual competition.
