|
- Greet the whole class, then greet a few students individually.

- Listen to the digital materials and say along while looking at the teachers' picture cards.
- Split into question and answer groups and chant.
- Insert different days and/or subjects and chant.

- Have them listen to the recording and say along while showing them the teachers' picture cards.
- Split the class in two. One half will be the question group, the other will be the answer group. Have them chant just their part.
- Once they have gotten used to it, have them chant inserting different days and/or subjects.

- Write down the subjects that they like, and the reason they like them, in their textbooks.
- Answer the instructors’ questions.

- Make sure to have them write their reasons.
- After everyone has finished writing, ask a student "What subject do you like?" Have the student say which subject her or she likes and the reason for liking it.

○ "Arrange the cards as heard"
- Prepare the cards from the back of the textbook.
- Ask the instructor in unison "What do you study on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday?"
- Once the instructor has finished speaking, arrange the cards in that order on their desks.
- Next, answer the instructor's questions with the correct order of the arranged subjects.

- For each day, say "I study ___ and ___," inserting two subjects. When finished, have them arrange the cards in that order.
- Once Monday through Friday have been completed, ask "What do you study on Monday?" to confirm.
- When confirming ask the days at random – not in order.

○ "Let's find a friend!"
- Choose one subject.
- Walk around the classroom asking "What do you study? I study ___," and find classmates who have chosen the same subject.

- Do a demonstration and have them understand the activity.
- Make sure they understand the importance of saying "hello," "goodbye," etc. as well.
- If they do well, have them add a day of the week as well (i.e. "What do you study on Monday?").
|
|
- Reflect back on todays class. Fill out the reflection card.
- Say goodbye.
|
- Praise children about their attitude and use of English.
- Say goodbye.

○「聞いたとおりにカードをならべよう。」
- 巻末児童用絵カードを用意する。
- 指導者に一斉にWhat do you study on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/
Friday? などと尋ねる。
- 指導者が言い終えたら,その通りに巻末児童用絵カードを机上に並べる。
- 次に,指導者の質問に対して並べた教科などを答える。

- 曜日ごとにI study ~ and ~. と,2教科程度で答え,言い終えたらカードを並べさせる。
- 月~金曜日まで終えたら,児童にWhat do you study on Monday? と尋ねて答えさせながら,答えを確かめさせる。
- 尋ねるときには,月曜日から順に尋ねるのではなく,曜日を順不同にするとよい。

- 出会ったときや別れるときの挨拶も大切にさせる。
- 児童の実態に応じて,What do you study on Monday? のように,曜日を加えて尋ねさせる。
