[How to do the activity]
➀ Using the same cards from last time, with their name on one side and birthday on the other,
distribute 2-3 of the cards to each student, making sure that no student gets their own card.
➁ Each student will write a nice message about that friend. Then, they will write their name in
the "From" column.
➂ The teacher will have each student fold the cards (so that you can't see the names), collect
them and then shuffle them well.
➃ Still folded, the teacher will pass out the 2-3 of the cards to each student.
➄ Without opening the cards, each student will ask and search for the birthday of the student with
the same birthday as the card they have, using the phrase, "When is your birthday?"
➅ When they have found the correct student the students will say, "Happy Birthday! Here you are!"
and pass the card.

- 教室内を自由に動いて，友達と誕生日を尋ね合い，各月の誕生者を調べて，誌面の表に名前と誕生日を言己人する。
- 月ごとの誕生者を発表し合い，表を完成する。

- 誕生日を尋ね合わせ，誌面の表に友達の名前と誕生日を記入させる。
- 全体で確認して，学級全員の誕生日を入れた表を完成させる。

【活動の進め方】
①前時に使った，児童名(表)とその児童の誕生日（裏）とが記入されたバースデーカードを，各児童に2，3枚ずつ本人以外のカードが行くように配付する。
②各児童は，カード表面にその友達のよいところやすてきなところをメッセージとして書く。また，自分の名前をFromの欄に書く。
（本時までに，ここまでの作業を各自にさせておいてもよい。）
③指導者は，各自にカードを中表に折らせて（児童名が見えないようにする）回収し，よくシャッフルする。
➃指導者は再度，中表に折ったままカードを各児童に2，3枚配付する。
➄各児童は，酉己付されたカードを開かずに，カード裏面に書かれている誕生日の人を，When is your birthday? と尋ねて探す。
⑥誕生日の人が見つかったら，Happy birthday. Here you are. と言ってその人に渡す。
